- Autola Oy aloitti toimintansa 1922. Autolan koneosastosta muodostettiin uusi yhtiö Oy Witraktor, joka aloitti toimintansa vuoden 1957 alussa. 30.9.1961 pääosa Wihuri-yhtiöistä fuusioitiin yhdeksi osakeyhtiöksi ja nimi muutettiin Witraktorista Wihuri-yhtymä Oy:ksi. Vuoden 1975 lopulla nimi muutettiin Wihuri Oy:ksi
