- Johanna-levymerkki aloitti kesällä 1979 Love Recordsin mentyä konkurssiin. Atte Blomin ja Pekka Aarnion perustaman levy-yhtiön nimi oli aluksi Musiikki- ja kirjatoimisto P. Karhu Oy. Nimi lyheni muotoon Kirjatoimisto P Karhu Osakeyhtiö, kunnes 1982 se muutettiin muotoon Johanna Kustannus Oy. Yhtiö meni konkurssiin lokakuussa 1984 ja poistettiin kaupparekisteristä 1989. Tämän jälkeen Atte Blom ja kolme muuta omistajaa perustivat uuden, samannimisen yrityksen.
