- Suomen Musiikintekijät on musiikintekijöiden etujärjestö. Yhdistyksen nimi oli perustettaessa 28.10.1954 Suomen Elokuvasäveltäjät ry, jonka jälkeen nimeksi vaihdettiin Elokuva- ja Viihdesäveltäjät ry. Nimi Säveltäjät ja Sanoittajat Elvis ry otettiin käyttöön vuonna 1979. Yhdistyksen nimi Suomen Musiikintekijät ry otettiin käyttöön 24.10.2017.
