Scope note
- A peptidylarginine deiminase isoenzyme mainly expressed in egg and embryo tissues. It is a post-translational modification enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of protein-bound ARGININE residues to CITRULLINE residues in a CALCIUM ion-dependent manner.
