Användningsanmärkning
- En grupp virus av släktet Pestivirus som orsakar diarre, feber, munsår, blödningssyndrom och olika typer av nekrotiska sår hos nötkreatur och andra husdjur (bovin virusdiarre, BVD). De två arterna (genotyperna), BVDV-1 och BVDV-2, uppvisar olikheter i fråga om antigenicitet och patogenicitet. Den tidigare benämningen BVDV omfattade båda arterna.
