Användningsanmärkning
- Cellytereceptorer som binder kortikotropin (ACTH) med hög affinitet och utlöser intracellulära förändringar. Farmakologiska studier antyder att det kan finnas ett flertal ACTH-receptorer. En ACTH-receptor har klonats och tillhör en underfamilj av G-proteinbundna receptorer. Förutom i binjurebarken förekommer ACTH-receptorer i hjärnan och immunsystemet.
