Användningsanmärkning
- En biologisk kommunikationsprocess som koordinerar utveckling, återväxt och homeostas. I den mänskliga organismen är sådan återkoppling särskilt viktig för kommunikationen mellan separata organ. Så gott som alla hormoner i nervsytemet och det endokrina systemet styrs via feedbackprocesser: av perifera hormoner, av katjoner, metaboliter, osmolaritet och extracellulära vätskenivåer.
