- Ett flerfunktionsgalektin som ursprungligen påvisades som ett makrofagantigen som binder till IgE och som ett 29-35 kD-lektin som binder laminin. Det ingår i ett antal biologiska händelser, inkl. interaktioner med galaktosbärande glykokonjugat, celltillväxt, celldifferentiering och apoptos.
