- Elektronisesti tuotettu, klubiympäristöön tarkoitettu tanssittava popmusiikki, jota luonnehtii yleensä hyvin nopea tempo ja instrumentaalisuus (poikkeuksena teknorap). Tekno on myös varsin usein hyvin anonyymisti sävellettyä ja esitettyä.
