  • management that promotes an organisation's ability to create value with information, knowledge and expertise

Note

  • The goal of knowledge management is not only to utilise the information and knowledge that are contained and achievable within an organisation, but also to ensure that the information and knowledge that will be needed in the future are located or can be achieved within the organisation. Knowledge management can sometimes be used to refer to information management or knowledge-based management.
